Discovery LS Testicular Metastic Disease Case Study


Summary:

The patient is a 32 year-old male 6'0", 235 lbs, recently diagnosed with testicular cancer who had a right orchiectomy two weeks prior to scanning. A PET/CT scan was done for staging prior to therapy. The CT done at time of orchiectomy showed clear lung bases and a 2 cm suspicious lymph node in the aortocaval region at the level of the aortic bifurcation adjacent to the inferior vena cava.

Ultrasound results: 4 cm mass in right testicle suspicious for testicular carcinoma Histology Report: Embryonal cell carcinoma.
