GEMS Asia rolls out 10,000th CT

GE Medical System Asia achieved a significiant milestone when its 10,000th CT rolled out on March 31, 1999. A pioneer in establishing CT technology in South Asia, Wipro Ge now leads with 250 Ct'sin this region. The event was markedby a live tele-conferencebetween India, Japan, China and Korea.

GE also manufactures high quality CT X-raytubes at GE BEL, itsglobal manufacturing unitin Bangalore- the firstin Asia and the third in the world.
