Dear Customer,
GE is the undisputed market leader in CT and we have received orders from teaching hospitals, tertiary care hospitals as well as radiology centers across the subcontinent, from Jammu to Trivandrum, Calcutta to Mumbai.
We rolled out our 100 th Sytec from Indian Manufacture, and Dr. Anand Parihar received the unit. He is one of our long-standing customers with two CTs purchased over the past 7 years. His latest CT is the Sytec Synergy Plus Helical CT. Dr.Parihar has chosen GE again and again for transparency in our dealings and service commitment to the customer.
As a Global Product Company, we are making good progress in all areas of operation – CT and X-Ray Tubes, C-Arms,Ultrasound Scanners and Software Engineering. This is the result of investment in technologies and people from GE, and GE’s commitment to South Asia is stronger than ever before.
The current issue of IMAGES covers our products in Nuclear Medicine and PET, areas where GE is a leader and Wipro GE is providing software support across the globe. We have a significant installed base in the region of over 20 Gamma Cameras. We look forward to working even closer with Nuclear Medicine specialists in the region.
As we go into the new Millennium, we have launched schemes making it attractive to buy GE systems before December, 1999. We look forward to your continued support in making us your No. 1 choice.

Yours sincerely,

D A Prasanna

‘GE, THE WORLD’S MOST ADMIRED COMPANY’

GENERAL ELECTRIC, the No.1 on this year’s all-star list, is a prime breeding ground for future CEOs. Here leadership is synonymous with performance. You’ve got to prove yourself every day. It’s a true meritocracy, says GE’s chairman, Jack Welch. It doesn’t matter which school or what country you came from. Young people get a great chance with us; we have CEOs in their 30s. Half of GE’s management trainees come from outside the U.S., and most who rise to be CEOs of the many business units have had experience in at least two divisions. GE’s executives receive similar compensation plans irrelevant of the country they work in.
