R Ramachandran

Chief Executive
Ultrasound &Marquette Business

Dear Customer,

GE Ultrasound has been collaborating with the clinical community to provide unsurpassed clinical performance and enhanced productivity across the entire LOGIQ product line.

The LOGIQ 700 Expert Series has been designed to keep you at the forefront of ultrasound technology, both now and in the future. It employs the GE Continuum philosophy. We are happy to inform you that we have migrated some of these advanced technologies to our other products like LOGIQ 500 and LOGIQ 400.

The performance and flexibility (in upgradation) of LOGIQ á 100 has been acknowledged by eminent sonologists. To add to this, we now have brought in the benefits of high end digital technology to Black & White users through the LOGIQ 200 PRO - the only B&W machine with 48 channels and a fully digital platform. It’s our commitment to provide you with continuing excellence in long-term clinical performance, value and investment protection through planned upgrades. To this end we have been using the concept of technology migration wherein we transfer our annual technology breakthroughs through the LOGIQ family of products.

In the current financial year, we have installed over 1000 ultrasound machines in India, a feat which has been possible only with your support. This only goes to prove our unquestionable leadership in this field.

This issue of IMAGES is meant to thank you for your support and patronage enabling us to cross many milestones in Ultrasound and more to come in the future.

To date, our plant at Wipro GE in Bangalore has manufactured and shipped out over 6,500 LOGIQ á 100 machines globally. The facility in fact is now gearing up to start manufacture of LOGIQ 200 PRO and LOGIQ 400 Colour Doppler machines also.

The Engineering team is part of GE Medical Systems global product development programmes and has received prestigious awards for Technology and Exports.

This just goes to show the commitment of Wipro GE to developing and contributing to the field of health care in India at affordable costs.
